| Product Description: | Video gate is a software component, enabling to perform the video streams’ paralleling, recompression, scaling and recording. Video gate module is mostly used in large-scale distributed video surveillance systems. It is mainly designed for video streams transmitting from the servers to the clients. In other words, the server with installed Video gate module (hereafter referred to as Video gate) receives a video stream (live video or an archive) from the server and routes it to several clients with required quantity and frame rate for each client. Thus, Video gate distributes video streams; it also scales and recompresses them if necessary, excluding extra loading on the server due to processing several duplicated client queries. In this case the client may be represented by any interface, displaying video from cameras, connected to the server- for example any virtual monitor or interface, using the ActiveX component. |
